Georgia’s Golden Isles is home for Jess, who has lived there most of her life. She pulls her creative inspiration from the passion of those she works alongside- the thinkers and doers that spark the drive to make art and make noise. “To hear a story, a mission, a dream- the energy takes over and I’m inspired with a vision of how to breathe life into it. It’s intoxicating to feel the connection. Creating is the antidote.”

Before working in marketing professionally, Jess had her own art business where she focused on macrame wall hangings and paintings. Her self-promotion as an artist transferred over as she began a career in marketing as a social media director and creative strategist. After almost four years working with a full-service marketing company, she made the leap with her soul-skater, Ben, to co-found Volo Project where they focus on brands and stories that align with their vision. Jess is now the styling, producing and content creating force behind video and photoshoots, as well as social media management.
